How many trucks does it take to move an entire fireclay production facilty capable of making over 1.2 million pieces of ceramic a year? ....... The answer is "all of them!" All the trucks you can find, and then some.
Jokes aside, 2025 has been a busy year here at BOCCHI as we have been relocating our production facilities from Istanbul to a new larger, more dynamic facility outside the city. This move will allow us to expand our production without bumping up against our neighbors and to consolidate our efforts into a single production campus. That said, getting all the kilns, casting benches and moulds, glazing machines, mountains of raw minerals and so much more relocated and set up is no easy task.
We GREATLY appreciate all your patience while we have managed this process over several stages. The last trucks have now rolled from the old facitlies and are enroute to the new one. It will still take some time to get everthing set up and rolling to our exacting standards, but products have started to run and production will continue to ramp up to full speed in the coming months. We will be putting a focus on our best selling products and colors first, followed by in-demand secondary colors and finishes, and finally our specialty items.
